Our agreement
These Terms of Use apply to your use of SnapPalette, an iOS app published by Tanay Bhattacharjee (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.
Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless the App Store product page specifies a different license. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Review the price, billing period, renewal terms, and any trial shown on the in-app purchase screen. Those live App Store details control the transaction.
Using the app
SnapPalette lets you select or capture photos, apply artistic looks, adjust images, compare before and after results, and export or share finished artwork. You may use the app for lawful personal or commercial projects, provided you have the necessary rights to the photos and other material you use.
Please do not use the app to infringe another person’s rights, violate the law, interfere with the app or its services, or attempt to bypass purchase or access controls. You are responsible for obtaining any required consent from people shown in the images you edit and for checking an export before you publish it.
Your photos & artwork
You keep whatever rights you have in the photos you bring to SnapPalette and in the artwork you create with the app. We do not claim ownership of your personal images. The app needs permission to process a selected image on your device so it can provide the editing functions you request.
Styles, interface elements, branding, and other app materials remain owned by us or their respective licensors. An artistic effect does not give you rights in someone else’s copyrighted photo, trademark, or likeness. Results can vary with the source image, device, and selected settings.
SnapPalette Pro
The free experience includes a limited set of styles and export options and may include a watermark or ads. SnapPalette Pro unlocks additional styles, full-resolution exports, watermark-free output, and an ad-free in-app experience while you have an active entitlement. The exact features available are described in the app and may evolve as the app is updated.
The app is configured to offer weekly, monthly, and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions and a lifetime one-time purchase when those products are available from Apple. A free trial is available only if it is displayed to you at checkout and Apple confirms your eligibility. A lifetime purchase grants the available Pro features for the life of the app, subject to the app continuing to be offered and supported.
Billing, renewal & cancellation
All in-app purchases are processed by Apple. For an auto-renewing subscription, Apple charges the price and billing period displayed at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled through your Apple Account at least 24 hours before the current period ends, or as otherwise stated by Apple for your region. Cancelling normally keeps access through the paid period; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Use Restore Purchases in SnapPalette if an eligible purchase is not showing. Refund eligibility and requests are handled by Apple; visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Availability & changes to features
Some features depend on iOS permissions, a compatible device, available storage, Apple’s purchase services, or advertising availability. If an optional style model or third-party service is unavailable, its related feature may not work. We may fix, improve, change, or retire app features and will try to avoid unnecessary disruption.
We cannot guarantee that every effect will look the same on every image or that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. Save important work outside the app; local recent edits are a convenience, not a backup service.
Responsibility & legal rights
The app is provided with the care reasonably expected of a consumer app. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by misuse, incompatible devices, third-party services, or loss of local data outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or your mandatory consumer rights.
Apple is responsible for its own App Store and payment services; Google is responsible for its own advertising services. Their separate terms may apply when you use those services.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as SnapPalette changes. The effective date above will show when a new version applies. If a change is material, we will communicate it in an appropriate way. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them, subject to any rights you have under applicable law.
