Who this policy covers
SnapPalette is an iOS photo editing app published by Tanay Bhattacharjee (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy describes the current app and these three static information pages. It does not describe how unrelated websites or apps handle information after you leave SnapPalette.
The app does not require a SnapPalette account. Its current image editing features run on the device. Purchases use Apple’s App Store, and ads may use Google Mobile Ads when the publisher enables production advertising.
Photos & local storage
When you choose a photo from your library or take one with the camera, SnapPalette uses it to show previews, apply styles, make adjustments, and create exports. The current app performs this work locally on your device. We do not operate a photo upload service for these editing features, and we do not use your photos to train AI models.
If you save an export, iOS asks for permission to add it to your Photos library. If you share, the destination you choose receives the exported image under its own terms and privacy practices. Camera and Photos access are controlled through iOS permissions.
The app can keep up to 20 recent edits in its private on-device storage so you can revisit them. It also saves style favorites, recently used styles, and a few app preferences on the device. You can remove individual recent edits in the app; uninstalling the app generally removes its local app data from that device.
Purchases & subscriptions
SnapPalette Pro purchases and subscription status are handled through Apple’s StoreKit and your Apple Account. Apple processes payment details; we do not receive your full card number. The app checks Apple’s purchase records to unlock Pro features and restore eligible purchases.
For subscription billing, cancellation, purchase history, and refunds, use your Apple Account settings and Apple’s support tools. See Apple’s subscription guide.
Advertising & consent
When production ads are enabled, the free app may show Google Mobile Ads, including banners, occasional interstitials, or a rewarded ad you choose to watch. Google and its advertising partners may process app and device information such as advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP address, ad interactions, and diagnostic data to deliver and measure ads, prevent abuse, and, where permitted, personalize advertising. The exact data used depends on your device, region, consent choices, and Google’s configuration.
The app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request consent when required. If your region requires it, you may be able to reopen Ad Privacy Choices in the app’s Settings. iOS privacy settings may provide additional controls. Choosing Pro hides in-app ads, but it does not erase information already processed by a third party.

Support messages
If you email us, we receive your email address, the message you write, and any details or attachments you decide to include. We use this information to answer your request, investigate an issue, and keep a reasonable record of the conversation. Please avoid sending sensitive information or original photos unless it is needed for your request.
These information pages are static and contain no analytics tags, advertising code, or cookies as supplied. Your web host may still create standard access logs when you publish them; review your host’s practices before launch.
Your choices & requests
- Choose whether to give the app camera or Photos permissions, and change them later in iOS Settings.
- Delete recent edits from the app, or remove the app to delete its local app data from your device.
- Use the in-app Ad Privacy Choices control when it appears, and manage relevant device advertising settings.
- Contact us to ask about a support message you sent, request its deletion, or exercise a privacy right available where you live.
We can act on information we hold, such as support correspondence. For data held by Apple, Google, or another app you share with, use that provider’s privacy controls as well.
Retention & security
Recent edit files remain on your device until you remove them, the app rotates older entries beyond its 20-item limit, or the app is removed. Local preferences remain until changed, cleared, or the app is removed. We keep support email only as long as reasonably needed to resolve requests and maintain a record, unless a longer period is required by law.
We rely on iOS app storage protections for local files and use reasonable measures for support correspondence. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. Third parties such as Apple and Google set their own retention periods for information they process.
Children & policy changes
SnapPalette is a general-audience creative app. It is not designed specifically for children, and we do not knowingly ask children to send us personal information. If you believe a child sent us information, contact us so we can review the request.
We may update this policy as the app or its services change. The effective date above will change when we publish a new version. Material changes should also be communicated in an appropriate way in the app or on these pages.
